Our Squadron is for all Marines who are or were part of Marine Air Command and Control. The name honors a small team of Marines who created an all weather bombing system in 1949 at Point Magu, California that evolved to become the Air Support Radar Team (ASRT). The equipment was sent to the Korean War as part of the 1st MAW, 1st MTACS. The radio call sign was Devastate Charlie. We are part of the Marine Corps Aviation Association. How close do you want me???

A Royal Air Force Typhoon pilot drives up to the back door of a C-130 (Hercules) for a photo opportunity, ........... at 26,000 ft.

He radios, "How close do you want me?"
They radio, "How close can you get?"
Pilot ........."Close enough?"
" Or do you want me to come in?"

You have to be a tad mad to be a fighter pilot in today's world but,

even crazier to be a photographer looking into those huge air intakes!

Hiroshima

Aerial view of Hiroshima, Japan, one year after the atomic bomb blast shows some small amount of reconstruction amid much ruin on July 20, 1946. The slow pace of rebuilding is attributed to a shortage of building equipment and materials. (AP Photo/Charles P. Gorry) #
